Rani Mukherjee says about smoking in No One Killed Jessica that this is a part of her character which she plays a role of journalist. She says that most of the women reporter & journalist smoke not all of them, but some of them, yes. In the promos of No One Killed Jessica Rani was seen using hurling abuses both in Hindi and English.

Basically this movie based on two King fighting each other for the land. This movie only be made in the Tamil language.

In this movie South's popular actor Vikram and Mahesh Babu will be the part of this movie. Like Mani Ratnam's all movies this movie will be directed only in one language. The lots of pre-production work require fot this period movie. While we are researching for the same and who will be play the lead role as an actress not yet finalized. The film will be on floor in next year and the most of the part of this movie will be shoot in Mani Ratnam's favorite destination Kerala.
